Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, I’m a 51-year-old adventurer who’s lived a life as full as it’s been messy. I’m a proud mom to three incredible adult children and a grandmother to two delightful granddaughters, who serve as my heart and grounding force—especially when life has taken me off course.
My journey hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been real. I’ve struggled with alcohol addiction, wrestled with the consequences of a D.U.I., and faced my share of financial instability and anger issues. Let’s just say, life has handed me more than a few wake-up calls (and court dates), but those challenges have shaped me into the resilient, self-aware, and unapologetically honest person I am today.
Navigating these struggles hasn’t been pretty, but it’s taught me a lot about grace, forgiveness, and the power of self-reflection. My Sagittarian soul has always been searching for meaning—sometimes in the wrong places—but ultimately, I’ve found strength in my ability to get back up, even when the odds weren’t in my favor.
Despite the bumps in the road (or maybe because of them), I’ve cultivated a deep love for life. I’m fiercely independent, relentlessly curious, and always striving to learn, grow, and be better—not just for myself but for the people I love. Yes, I’m impatient, and sometimes my honesty can border on brutal (especially when paired with a little too much caffeine), but I like to think my heart is always in the right place.
One thing I’ve learned is that you can’t take life too seriously. Sure, I’ve hit rock bottom a time or two, but you know what? The view from there gives you a whole new appreciation for the climb back up. I’ve learned to laugh at my own missteps, embrace life’s imperfections, and keep moving forward with optimism and determination.
At the end of the day, I’m a free spirit with a story—a story that includes hard lessons, but also growth, love, and a relentless commitment to finding joy in the chaos. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that the journey is worth it, even if the road is rocky. So here’s to embracing the ride, bumps and all, and living a life that’s as honest as it is colorful.
